The HCC revived in 2007 when a group of concerned citizens succeeded in preserving Indian Cellar from development. In that same year, part of the Googins Woods parcel was gifted to the town. The HCC is committed to ensuring that the town protects its natural resources and has an adequate amount of preserved open space for public use. We strive to also help guide future town planning as development increases.
